HELP BUILD CHILDREN'S MERCY EAST

Everyone knows that every child should be in a car seat, but did you know that for some children, a "normal" car seat does not provide adequate protection? Your gift to the car seat program will help children get places safely.

WHEELCHAIRS
Children need wheelchairs for many different reasons. Some have had injuries either to their legs or spine. Others have disabilities due to muscular dystrophy or cerebral palsy. With wheelchairs in constant use, they are always in need of replacement.

DIGITAL HEARING AIDS
Imagine not being able to talk because you never hear a sound. Some of our children are experiencing sound for the first time with the assistance of hearing aids. Many of our children need two hearing aids. You can give the gift of sound to our children with hearing disabilities.

RECLINERS/ROCKERS
Recliners and rockers are used in many places throughout the hospital - from the Intensive Care Nursery where babies are rocked, to quiet places throughout the hospital where nursing mothers can take their children, and in patient rooms where they provide a small measure of comfort and hominess for patient families.

These monitors are in need throughout the hospital and in constant need of replacement. Some monitors are used 24 hours a day, seven days a week for our more critically ill children.
